Try-Out Schedule
Next Round To Be Held in Late Spring

ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS !!!  Travel Soccer will hold its next round of try-outs in late Spring, 2012 for Fall, 2012 and Spring 2013 play.  Please check back here for updates or sign up for our mailing list HERE.

AGE BRACKET: ALL.

What to bring: 

  • Water.
  • Shin guards and cleats.
  • Birth certificate copy.
  • Completed Registration Forms - Registration Form AND Town Hold Harmless Form.
  • Registration fee - TO BE DETERMINED.
    • Make checks payable to Pelham Traveling Soccer Club, Inc and include your child’s name on the check.
    • Your check will be returned if your child does not make a team.

Other Important Information:

  • Grade levels are determined as of the school year beginning September 2012.
  • Players who played "up" and wishing to remain with their "up" team should report to their "up" team try-out.
  • Try-Out results will be posted by try-out number here 2 - 4 weeks after the completion of ALL try-outs.

Getting Started in Travel Soccer
Important Steps for New Players

So what happens once you’ve made a Team?

REGISTER YOUR CHILD IMMEDIATELY !!! Your child will NOT be allowed to participate in our training activities, unless you have completed the registration process. Simply click on the Registration button at the top of this page to get started. We will deposit all checks collected at the try-outs, so no additional registration payment is required.

BUY YOUR UNIFORM KIT NOW !!! Players are now responsible for buying their own uniform kits. The Club will no longer place uniform purchases for the Teams. Click here to buy your uniform. Don’t forget !!!

New U-9 Players Only: DO NOT purchase uniforms. The Club purchases uniforms for all new U-9 players. Once coaches have been assigned to the new U-9 Teams, they will be in touch to distribute uniforms and to review practice schedules, training costs and other organizational matters.

NEW PARENT ORIENTATION !!!  Are you new to Travel Soccer?  Then come to our friendly and exciting new parent orientation meeting to find out about cost, practice and game schedules, training programs and everything else you ever wanted to know about playing Travel Soccer.  This meeting is usually held in later November or early December of each year, just after the announcement of Fall try-out results for the new U-9 teams.  Check this article and the calendar for specific date, time and place.

Good Things to Know About Travel Soccer

Q: What happens if I forget to pay my registration fee?

A:  Sometimes people forget to bring their registration fee to try-outs.  That’s OK.  But your child will not receive his or her player pass until payment is made.  NO PLAYER IS ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLUB ACTIVITY WITHOUT A PLAYER PASS.

Q:  My child wants to play but I can’t afford the cost.  What can I do?

A:  Player scholarships are available for some or all of the playing costs.  Our Club policy is that cost should never prevent a child from playing Travel Soccer.  If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please send an email to travel@pelhamsoccer.org.

Q: My child made a team.  Now what?

A: Check out our "Getting Started" article HERE.  We also hold an orientation meeting for parents of new U-9 parents, usually in early December of each year.
